Antiparos is a small paradise in the heart of Cyclades, located southwest from Paros island. It is characterized by its distinctive Cycladic beauty with white-washed houses, picturesque pedestrian streets, gorgeous beaches and relaxing vibes.
The historical center is located in the Venetian castle of Antiparos which was constructed in 1440 to protect the habitants from the pirates. Most of the center is pedestrian zoned with cobbled streets with plenty of small shops waiting to be discovered. The main square of the village offers sophisticated bars and traditional cafes, while beautiful overflowing bougainvilleas thrive in the yards of the houses. Fishing boats, in their traditional white, red and blue colors are moored in Antiparos’ charming port, while small taverns serve grilled octopus along the seafront of the town just off the fishermen’s net.
Although its petite size, Antiparos, offering nearly 60 km of coastline, has also lots of amazing beaches to be discovered, such as famous Soros beach on the east side of the island, or Agios Georgios bay, with its turquoise water, located on the south side of Antiparos
