This brand new stone villa is located in one of Corfu’s most popular and sought after villages, Kassiopi. It’s prominent position, on top of a hill, offers breathtaking unobstructed 280o views of nearby beaches, such as Avlaki, the channel and the Albanian coast and its mountains as well as a view of the village of Kassiopi. You can enjoy the sunset as well as the sunrise, watching the channel filled with sailing and speeding boats and others enjoying all sorts of water sports.
Built to the highest specifications, the construction was completed in July 2016. It is the first house in Corfu to implement the use of the Control 4 system, a smart-house system that allows the guests to easily control the temperature, lighting, alarm system and shutters through the five tablets that are provided throughout the house. The house also features the Sonos music system, which allows users to listen to over 100,000 free pre-loaded local and international radio stations, shows and podcasts streaming from every continent, use applications such as Spotify or listen to their personal collection of music downloads stored on their personal computers, phones and tablets. Both the village of Kassiopi as well as the closest beach are in walking distance from the house, 350m and 250m respectively. The village offers various shops and supermarkets, bakeries, bars and restaurants while the surrounding beaches, most with pebbles, have the most mesmerizing and clear waters making them ideal for snorkeling and discovery. The town of Corfu is a mere 50-minute drive and can also be reached by sea from the Kassiopi harbour, while the airport and the general hospital are even closer.
Walking up the carefully designed stairs, crossing a large path in the front garden, a majestic hand built wooden door allows you access to the main house. Stepping into a large living room you will instantly be filled with a sense of serenity. The large windows offer an amazing view while at the same time bathe the entire house in natural light. The décor is minimalistic and soothing. The south part of the house is completed with the dining area and the fully equipped kitchen. The north part of the house consists of the guest bathroom and three en-suite bedrooms, two of which are complemented by double showers. Two of the bedrooms face the 15-meter infinity pool and the sea channel while the third one faces the village of Kassiopi. The first floor solely hosts the master bedroom and bathroom as well as a private terrace with a small coffee table, which overlooks the pool, idyllic for breakfast, drinks and stargazing. Located on the lower level are two more en-suite bedrooms, one with a shower and the other with a bathtub. The laundry room, complete with a washing machine, a dryer and an iron with its ironing board is also on the same floor. A large room holds the home theatre with a DVD Player and a Play Station 3 and a mini gym. The gym comprises of three machines, a treadmill, an exercise bike and an elliptical machine. This large room also features a guest bathroom and a separate shower room. It is the perfect area for children to play, watch movies and be as loud as they want allowing their parents to fully relax and enjoy their vacations. Completing the lower level is a two-car indoor parking.
Surrounding the house are lush gardens with oleanders and olive trees, a variety of flowers and bushes and lots of grass, perfect for children to play on. The infinity pool is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the Greek sun and sky while its shallow end is great for you to combine cooling off and reading or just basking in the sunshine. Complementary pool towels are also provided. There is also an outdoor dining area along with a BBQ. Harmoniously complementing the house’s design are four wooden pergolas, offering shaded areas for whenever you need a break from the sun.
