Villa Leontice

Villa Leontice is in the borders of an old Venetian village which is 17 km from Corfu town and it’s airport. By just standing at the veranda you can spot the beautiful landscape and the sea which is only 1.5 km away. Leontice is in the northeast of Corfu, which happens to be the most beautiful part of the whole island. Alongside the coast you can find breathtaking beaches which offer you great nightlife and boat rental. The positioning of the villa is ideal not only because of the beach nearby but also because it is located between town and countryside which enables great sightseeing. The health care centre is only 2.4 km away. There are only 200 meters separating the house from an old Byzantine church with beautiful affrescos. The house and its surroundings create a big deal of outdoor activities including hiking, walking and mountain biking. The beach nearby offers water sports of all kind, even paragliding. Finally the house has a gorgeous view to the northeast.

The villa is located in the area of Aghios Marcos. The central part of the island offers the balanced mix of luscious green scenery, mountain slopes and sea that is typical of Corfu, as well as a variety of beaches and easy access to the amenities of the local resort-villages. The nearest beach for swimming is only 1.5km or a 5 minute drive away.

Tavernas and restaurants are available locally, with the nearest one only 500m from the villa. Ipsos the closest village, located 2km to the East offers a range of options from greek fast-food grills to sea-food restaurant. Barbati is a further 4.5km away with its own selection of sea-front and sea-view restaurants and bars, including Piedra del Mar one of Corfu’s most eclectic places to eat that also offers beach access and a fully stocked bar. Further to the north lies the traditional fishing harbour of Kassiopi while there are plenty of exquisite beaches to be explored along the coast.
